Sable and I both love going to trials events.

We both get to relax, just hang out, and get away from the day to day things.  Not to mention the events are usually in the trees…  This time we were at the Gloretta adventure camp.  I had helped Jess with setting a few of her sections.  I knew they were going to be tough on me, since I hadn’t been practicing.  They were.  I crashed on the first section of the day Saturday morning.  So I decided to drop back down to Novice.  Good call on my part, since I had bike issues again.  I had to push the 250 from section 4 to 8. NOT. FUN. Exhausting.  I managed to get back to pick up the 200 so I could finish the day.  At least I finished!  Not my best score.

I scored the afternoon Saturday with Liam.. what a great kid.  I was soooo tired that I took a couple of naps on a rock while waiting for riders to show up.

Sunday I was still just beat so I decided to stay in Nov.  The day went much better for me, no bike issues and I was able to get done on the early side for the morning.  It helped me out that I was the first person to reach section #1 and I was the 3 or 4th one through the section.  There was a large back up there, since you had to start at 1 and work your way through to get to the next sections, it wasn’t possible to skip one.  They were a bit on the easy side for nov and too tough on ama, but that is how it goes I’m told. I was okay with my rides a couple of dumb mistakes aside.  The afternoon sections were in the same area so I walked with Mal to our section for the afternoon.  Curtis did a great job with setting.  Mal and I were close to the next section..   I was able to get a shot of Nick and the new Jacob.
