I was pretty sure that when I woke up on the morning of the first that things would be back to normal and 2020 would just have been a bad dream, but no such luck. My knee was still sore and the random leg cramps were driving me nuts. I still had a few days off until I had to back to work full time. I was really glad I took the time off; I don\u2019t think that I would have really been able to handle working full time the week before. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
PT was still killin\u2019 me three days a week, but I was making enough progress that we went down to 2x per week for a couple of week, then down to 1x a week for a couple more weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was about that time I decided to try a ride on the dirt bike with CJ and Deb. It was a great ride. The only issues for me was going between sitting and standing\u2026 Dang that hurt! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next week I go a reluctant OK to ride the dirt bikes from my Ortho Doc\u2026. I went out for a ride that weekend, with Luis. He was more than willing to \u201cbabysit\u201d me and pick the bike up. I knew that I couldn\u2019t do that yet, I still had a lot of pain with squats. Dang, good thing I wasn\u2019t alone, I ran the bike outta gas and he had to go get some for me. After he\u2019d already given me what he had in the roto pak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I did a couple more rides with Jesse, his dad (Cris), and a few others. They weren\u2019t nearly as worried about me when it came to picking trails\u2026. I ended up riding some things I would have taken pause on before my knee replacement. Oh well, I made, I didn\u2019t get hurt, and I had a great time. Cris, is super kind about picking up my bike when I kept falling over in the sand and hill climbs. It was the last time that I had to have help from Cris, that I realized that I only falling over because I was trying to be TOO careful. Once, I stopped trying to go slow and be super careful, I stopped dropping the bike\u2026 Go figure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
