{"id":1447,"date":"2015-05-12T17:05:10","date_gmt":"2015-05-12T17:05:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/diomederacing.com\/blog\/?p=1447"},"modified":"2015-06-01T18:32:38","modified_gmt":"2015-06-01T18:32:38","slug":"moab-part-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diomederacing.com\/blog\/2015\/05\/12\/moab-part-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Moab!!!   part 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Moab II<\/p>\n<p>The second day of riding wasn\u2019t overly exciting, as everyone was tired from the long day.\u00a0 We all slept in, I mean what\u2019s a vacation if you don\u2019t get to sleep in?\u00a0 Then there was brunch in town, followed by hitting the store to get some supplies, and gas for the bikes.\u00a0 By the time we got back it was kind of hot out and the guys had left without me to go ride fins and things.\u00a0 I really wanted to work on the bikes set up, since all day yesterday it felt like I was riding a pogo stick.\u00a0 So I geared up and took off by myself to go play.\u00a0 I decided to make a bunch of changes and then ride a short section of fins and things by myself.\u00a0 I was a bit nervous about it, but figured that there was so many people around that I\u2019d be fine or at least I\u2019d be able to find help quickly if I needed it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ratman.smugmug.com\/Other\/Moab-2015\/49036431_Jsjdwm#!i=4033929416&#038;k=vQ5FP6D&#038;lb=1&#038;s=A\">http:\/\/ratman.smugmug.com\/Other\/Moab-2015\/49036431_Jsjdwm#!i=4033929416&amp;k=vQ5FP6D&amp;lb=1&amp;s=A<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I got to the trail head and there was 4 razrs getting ready to start up the hill.\u00a0 So I waited for them to go.\u00a0 It occurred to me as I was watching them, that it was the first time I had ridden any dirt bike by myself.\u00a0 I at least had the fore thought to turn my <a href=\"http:\/\/share.findmespot.com\/shared\/faces\/viewspots.jsp?glId=0phLUAMYYtQmSivT2OMAeXMKceltHKQUI\">SPOT<\/a> on and tell Mikrow that I\u2019d be gone about two hours.\u00a0 I hadn\u2019t grabbed my phone though, and I should have.\u00a0\u00a0 I followed the razrs for about 3 minutes and decided that they were going way too slow and I\u2019d have to work too hard to stay behind them, so I found a nice spot to go around them.\u00a0 It was a smart move;
