I can\u2019t believe that I finally made it out to Femmwalla at Chuckwalla, what a great day.\u00a0 It was so awesome to see all those women out on the track.\u00a0 As usual there are some really talented women riders and fast women racers.<\/p>\n
I managed to talk another SMRI race into going out there with me.\u00a0 He was all excited to see that many girls riding. \u00a0\ud83d\ude00\u00a0 It\u2019s a LONG drive out there, I\u2019ve gotten used to the 10.5 hours to Miller, but for what ever reason that 11.5 to Chuckwalla was much more tiring.<\/p>\n
I had spent some time before we left for CA studying video of the track, but wouldn\u2019t you know it, I studied the CW and we ended up going CCW.\u00a0 \u00a0Figures.\u00a0 I went ahead and put myself into the slow group for the morning, since I didn\u2019t really know the track. \u00a0I had looked at one video of it that direction, so I had an idea. \u00a0Regardless, I have to get out there and find markers for myself.<\/p>\n
After figuring out where I was on the track and how to make it quicker around some of the corners.\u00a0 I did a video lap with Dale Keifer of Racer\u2019s Edge. \u00a0I wished I had done the laps with him earlier. \u00a0Watching the tape at the end of the day let me know a whole number of areas where I could fix things.\u00a0 I wasn\u2019t going to ride on Sat, but after that I had to. \u00a0I really needed to fix those areas.<\/p>\n
I think one of the highlights was the ride in the Mustang with Mickey! \u00a0I was a little worried when someone said\u2026 \u201cwow, you are going next with Mickey. \u00a0You haven\u2019t eaten lately have you?\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0I loved it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
