{"id":1132,"date":"2013-10-31T22:18:30","date_gmt":"2013-10-31T22:18:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/diomederacing.com\/blog\/?p=1132"},"modified":"2014-02-11T21:16:55","modified_gmt":"2014-02-11T21:16:55","slug":"end-of-the-season-and-era","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diomederacing.com\/blog\/2013\/10\/31\/end-of-the-season-and-era\/","title":{"rendered":"End of the season and era."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last SMRI Race for the season, wasn&#8217;t nearly as exciting as I&#8217;d hoped it would be.<\/p>\n<p>I had a horrible time getting ready and wasn&#8217;t as prepare as I would have like to be for registration.\u00a0 For me that always carries over into my racing on that day. \u00a0So I wasn&#8217;t riding as well as I should have.\u00a0 It&#8217;s just a frustrating way to end the season.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t get any practice time on the 250, I was rolling up to get on the track and there was a bike down and they red flagged it.\u00a0 The rider wasn&#8217;t really hurt, there was just stuff to clean up off the track.<\/p>\n<p>I did manage to finish up the win for the Formula Femme season.\u00a0 It&#8217;s pretty cool, that I&#8217;ve managed to win it 4 years in a row now.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s already got me thinking about what I would like to do for the 2014 season.\u00a0 Do I come back and try for a 5th year?<\/p>\n<p>I had decided early in the season that I wouldn&#8217;t do the Secretary gig for the next two seasons.\u00a0 It was time to move on.\u00a0 I have agreed to keep handling the Contingency, and to help the new Secretary get comfortable in her role.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking forward to seeing what I can do when I just have to concentrate on my racing!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last SMRI Race for the season, wasn&#8217;t nearly as exciting as I&#8217;d hoped it would be.
