Have more than one bike means that it takes some time to keep them all in usable shape. After the Ryan Young clinic, I had to do some maintenance on the Beta 200. While at the clinic I had one of the riders offer to help me with a clutch mod. They said that taking out two of the clutch springs would make the pull on the lever easier and it wouldn’t drag so much. I was game to try it out. The down side to that was when we put it back together, we damaged the rubber seal for the clutch cover. The bike spent the weekend puking ATF everywhere. On the upside, it really did make a huge difference in my ability to control the bike. It’s much better without all that clutch drag.

I called Dsquared Trails on Sat to see about getting a replacement so I would get it fixed for the up coming weekend. I also needed to get new tires on the bike. It also needed new brake pads, fluid changes for the brakes. Overall, it just needed some luv.

I spent three days getting it together for the Apr/May event. I was really pleased with myself for not messing up the new gasket that I had to spend a huge amount of $$$ getting sent overnight.

With all the cleaning, tires, and new stickers the bike look much better.

I also spent an entire day cleaning all the different air filter that I have for the three dirt type bikes I have.

I spent another whole day cleaning, changing oil on 3 bikes, and I still need to spend another day doing brake and clutch bleeds on all of the bikes.

The MT is going to get new tires at the next track day, It looks like I have a slow leak in the front tire on the tiger, so that is going to need to be fixed as well.

It’s a really good thing that I enjoy all this.
