I would like to say this was just for fun, but it was due to family health issues. My mom was in the hospital for a week or so. They finally figured out what was going on with her. Congestive heart failure, she’s lucky that she going to be able to manage it with diet and meds, but it meant that she needed some help around the house with Dad. It was great to see them again. I had gotten up there over Christmas, so it hadn’t been to long since I got a visit in. This time I was able to bring Sable with me. She to an immediate liking to Dad.
It took a few more days before she realized what a soft touch Mom was. Then it was impossible to get her away from Mom. I think she gained some weight that week.
I’m very lucky that work was okay with me working remotely, so I could spend the time with them.
