We had amazing weather for this event, warm sunny, and no wind. I think I even got a bit of sunburn. Of course, once the sun went away it got chilly quick. It was great to hang out around fires chatting.
The next morning Sable wasn’t too happy about having to get up…
Overall I was pleased with how I rode, I’m still having issues with just putting a foot down. I did have an issue in one section with the sand to a small rock, twice I totally blew it. That section ended up biting me the next weekend when we went over to see about riding them again for practice. I somehow managed to loose grip going up a rock, slide back, tumbled and dislocated two finger on my right hand… OUCH!! Oh well, back the to the event.
I did get a great spot in the section I scored in the afternoon, I had the perfect spot to watch the one next to me. I got good pictures of one rider in the water.
