I don’t usually post things about work or non-Moto things, but… These are not normal years…
I was hoping to get to T or C the next weekend after the trials event, but again, things were just not going the way I wanted them to go. Firstly, I received my second Covid shot, Moderna and just like with the first one I had a heck of a reaction. So I spent the whole weekend feeling like I had the flu, with a fever, chills, headache, and just exhausted. What a waste of a weekend. The next week at work was going to be a busy one, since I was covering for the dept supervisor, and I had to prep for my trip to visit TMC in Salt Lake City. I didn’t get any prep done the prior weekend, so I was under a crunch time wise to get everything ready to leave on Wed after work. I wanted to stop in Farmington to see Brian, Cass, and the kids for the night. That also made my trip to SLC a bit shorter the next day, and I had a Zoom meeting in the evening for SMRI that I couldn’t miss. Busy, busy, busy…. I can’t believe that I got it all done.
The main reason for going to SLC was for TMC to work his magic on my trailer. I’m very up front with the fact that I am not comfortable doing anything that has to do with wires… He is… So He sent me a list of things to buy, I of course, missed one, so we were a bit delayed due to having to order things. No biggie, we’ll just do a dirt ride! That’s pretty much how it all played out while I was there. Work on the trailer, dirt ride, work, dirt ride, work/work, trailer work, and drive home.
