This would be the same bike that I rode in Sonora in March. David made me a good deal on it and Jim installed a recluse clutch for me. I just need to put the upgraded skid plate on it. Well, really I need to put a few more things on it. Like radiator braces/protection, new foot pegs that are wider, and my steering damper.
I’ve ridden it a just a couple of times since I got it. Shame on me for not getting out more often. I was very pleasantly surprised at how much easier it was to ride on the single track around the house then the husky was. There were elements on my usual route that even after riding it many times with the 250 I still struggled, but with the 450 the first time through was a 10 fold easier to ride. I had one freak tip over at the top of hill no less that I wasn’t sure just what I did to cause it. Still that was the only one for the whole day. Hills that I had struggled with, were suddenly without any drama, almost easy!
