Wow, finally.  The first race weekend for my home club.  It feels like it is months over due.  It will be my first time working registration for the club, since I was elected to Secretary in Oct.

I can’t wait to try out the quick shifter, and I’m really hoping that they got everything in to do the 520 conversion so that I can re-gear the bike.

I’ve done something to the bike, so that it is different every time that I ride it, why would I want this weekend to be any different???  😉  At some point, I’ll be done making mods and then I will just have to concentrate on going faster, rather then re-learning how to ride the bike.

Practicing at Sandia on Tuesday was perfect for me.  I needed to get some of the rust off and figure out when my RP, BM, and lines were for this bike.  By the last session, I was very pleased with how the bike handled and think that I just might have a chance to be competitive with it this weekend.

Come on out and watch…

Sat. 8 to 4 and Sun. 8 to 5
